Jace Egland, the veteran forward for the Legionnaires, had an outstanding month of October, tallying 7 goals and 8 assists in just 5 games. His dynamic playmaking and scoring ability helped propel the Legionnaires to the top of the standings in the Saskatchewan Male U18 AAA Hockey League.

Egland’s impressive performance didn’t go unnoticed. The league's leading scorer was recently traded from the Wenatchee Wild to the Regina Pats in exchange for an eighth-round pick in the 2026 WHL Prospects Draft. This trade has led to Egland’s promotion to the Regina Pats of the Western Hockey League (WHL), where he will now look to continue his development at the next level.

Defensman - Simon Garchinski (12 GP: 1 Goal, 12 Assists, 13 Points)

Mintos veteran defenseman Simon Garchinski lead the Mintos to an impressive 8-3-1 record in the month of October, he finished the month with 1 goal and 12 assists in the 12 games. The Mintos captain leads his team in scoring through the first half of the season, with 1 goal and 19 assists, and his 19 assists puts him in the league lead for assists.



Goalie - Madex Kabrud (4 GP - 4 Wins, 0 Losses, .930 Save%, 2.52 GAA)

Saskatoon Blazers Goaltender Madex Kabrud is one of three Stars of the Month for the Month of October after posting a record of 4-0. He compiled a 2.52 GAA and .930 Save Percentage in those 4 starts stopping 122 of the 131 shots he faced.
